About Dr. Ken Steffen

Dr. Steffen received his undergraduate nursing degree from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, IA, and worked as a nurse for six years before pursuing a career in chiropractic. The nursing degree allowed him to observe flaws in traditional medicine, pushing him to find alternative pain relief options.

Dr. Steffen attended Palmer College of Chiropractic from 2013-2016, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic license. While working toward his degree, Dr. Steffen’s specialty was the diagnosis and removal of soft tissue adhesions. Dr. Steffen’s goal is to advance the healthcare industry to a different standard by providing safe, non-invasive, efficient, and effective solutions to pain in the musculoskeletal system. Through education and practice Dr. Steffen hopes to bring an understanding to the causes of degeneration, and pain in the human body.

When he’s not in the office fixing patients, Dr. Steffen loves enjoying anything and everything outdoors with his dog and his girlfriend. Dr. Steffen enjoys many outdoor activities as well as athletics. Dr. Steffen is no stranger to injury himself, allowing him to provide an empathetic and compassionate approach to every unique patient that walks in the doors of Foundation Musculoskeletal Specialists.
